About the role:
As a Technical Assistant within the Projects Services department in Aberdeen, you will provide crucial technical and administrative support to ensure efficient project execution. You will create and manage requisitions in SAP and Maximo, support the team with various queries and Act as the super-user for the Kabal logistics tool, supporting its rollout across the rig portfolio. Additionally, you will assist the Project Services Manager with specific tasks and projects, aiming to identify and implement process improvements. Your role will directly contribute to the smooth operation and success of project schedules and logistics, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
Here’s what the role looks like:
1. Provide technical and administrative support to ensure efficient project execution.
2. Create and manage requisitions in SAP and Maximo to ensure materials, services, and rentals are in place ahead of rig and well intervention schedules.
3. Amend and update all purchase orders as projects develop.
4. Support the team with SAP/Maximo queries.
5. Request material masters via the Sphera business tool for material purchases.
6. Assist the team with queries related to Sphera, Ariba, and Basware.
7. Resolve invoice queries on behalf of the team.
8. Act as the super-user for the Kabal logistics tool within the team.
9. Engage fully in the rollout of Kabal across the rig portfolio.
10. Support the Project Services Manager with specific tasks and projects as required.
11. Identify and implement process improvements within your area of work.
Requirements
Here are the key skills and experience relevant to this role:
12. Proficiency in EMS (SAP & Maximo) and Kabal.
13. IT literate with familiarity in MSO365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), EMS (SAP & Maximo), and Kabal.
14. An understanding of Well Operations & Well Integrity contracts and vendor outline agreements.
15. Ability to work independently with good communication, and networking skills.
16. Sound technical understanding of the oil and gas industry.
17. Willingness and ability to adapt to changing requirements.
It would be great if you also had:
18. Understanding of Projects, Wells & Subsea functions.
