The Performance Manager drives employee performance improvements across Royal Mail and Parcelforce for both managers and non-managers. This role oversees the entire performance management cycle, including planning, goal setting, monitoring, reviewing, and rewards and recognition. The objective is to align employee performance with strategic business goals. Our team is looking for people who can help take us on that journey. About the role To champion a performance driven culture by support the Senior Performance Manager in the development of a high performance and quality focused culture across Royal Mail & Parcelforce. You’ll enhance, the understanding of performance management and data analysis at all organisational levels by providing upskilling opportunities, advice, and ongoing support to drive change in behaviours and increase manager capability ensuring our quality standards are maintained. Maintain a robust framework for producing and delivering high quality performance reports required for key stakeholders and the Executive Board. These reports should be visual, tell the data story, and clearly demonstrate performance trends. About You To truly excel in the role, you will be able to demonstrate the necessary skills, qualifications and experience listed below: Experience of performance management with at least 3 years working in a customer centric, fast-paced, highly matrixed, multi-functional environment. Preferably working with trade unions and/or works councils. Experience of the full Performance Management cycle, tools, and research through to evaluation. Experience of using learning technology, and virtual tools (webinar platforms) to enhance the employee engagement and experience. You’ll also need to be an effective communicator, influence senior stakeholder relationship builder and programme manager, with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and coordinate work across teams. Relevant CIPD accreditation or equivalent.
