Job Overview
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and preventing dental diseases. Working closely with dentists, you will provide essential dental care to patients. Day worked can be discussed in the interview. 8am to 2pm Shift, appealing to those with busy schedules. We are looking for a team player who can contribute to our already amazing team. With 16 Nurses and 7 dentists at the practice, alongside hosting the Bangor University Hygienist Training Programme, Phatmon head training room, and plenty of workshops throughout the year, this practice is a fantastic place to work for upskilling.
Duties
1. Conducting dental cleanings and scaling to remove plaque and tartar
2. Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
3. Performing dental screenings and assessments
4. Taking dental X-rays and assisting with other diagnostic procedures
5. Applying fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth
6. Recording patient treatment information accurately
Requirements
1. Qualified Dental Hygienist with relevant certifications
2. Proficiency in CAD software for dental imaging (preferred)
3. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques
4. Understanding of dental anatomy and oral health principles
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £27.00 per hour
