Main Responsibilities: Material Planning and Scheduling Develop and maintain material requirements plans based on production schedules, sales forecasts, and inventory policies. Coordinate with production teams to align material availability with production needs. Inventory Management Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. Conduct regular inventory audits and analyse data to identify trends or inefficiencies. Procurement Coordination Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials. Work with suppliers to resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or capacity. Supply Chain Optimization Analyse supply chain performance metrics and recommend process improvements. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality and delivery standards. Cross-functional Collaboration Communicate with production, procurement, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations. Participate in meetings to provide updates on material planning and inventory status. Problem-Solving Address and resolve material shortages or supply chain disruptions proactively. Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks in material supply. Skill requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or a related supply chain role. Familiarity with production planning and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
