Title: Customer Service Operations Manager

Our retained client Ramsden International are an award-winning FMCG export organisation known for delivering exceptional service standards and FMCG product solutions to customers throughout the globe.
This newly created Customer Service Operations Manager position further demonstrates the company's customer-centric agenda and will be responsible for strengthening and leading a customer service function of approximately 25 members.
Reporting into an inspirational, talented and passionate Head of Operations, the Customer Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring that exceptional service standards are maintained and constantly improved upon. Main areas of customer service support will be related to assistance with the online order capturing system, active sales orders, and aftersales advice and care.
This is a true leadership position. We are not looking for someone who will sit behind emails and a screen. You will walk the floor, listen in on conversations with customers, guide, coach, and mentor new starters, and provide motivation and professional input to develop your team and team leaders. You will challenge where necessary and provide direction and decisive action when required.
Previous experience of handling a team of 20+ customer service members is advantageous but not essential. You will, however, demonstrate experience of effective customer service leadership that resulted in service standards increasing and team members flourishing within their roles.
