About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at Human Engineering, a company that specializes in delivering innovative solutions to optimize operations worldwide.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing and maintaining heavy equipment, including cranes, excavators, dumpers, crushers, and screeners or piling equipment. They will be responsible for routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs, as well as troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
* Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
* Conduct thorough examinations of components to identify potential defects or deficiencies.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to schedule and execute service activities, minimizing downtime and maximizing crane uptime.
* Provide technical guidance and support to customers and onsite personnel, ensuring proper operation and maintenance practices.
* Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering discipline.
* Experience working with heavy equipment in a field service capacity.
* Knowledge of heavy equipment/mining systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
* Diagnostics and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and team members effectively.
* Driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

* Salary package commensurate with experience (£55,000 - £65,000 per annum).
