The Royal Naval Benevolent Trust (RNBT) is a charity that provides financial assistance and support to thousands of serving and former Royal Navy and Royal Marines personnel and their families in times of need. The RNBT also provides residential and nursing care for veterans of the service, at two care homes and a small number of almshouses.

The Chief Financial Officer will play a crucial role in the strategic leadership and growth of the organisation. You will be responsible for setting the financial direction, devising and overseeing efficient and accountable financial processes, as well as driving impactful change within the Finance directorate for the Trust in line with our core values and beliefs.
As an ambitious, expanding and dynamic organisation, The RNBT is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer who will provide inspirational leadership, vision and strategic direction to the Finance directorate and elevate financial awareness and capabilities across The Trust. As Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for developing the organisational finance strategy and ensuring effective standards of accounting, financial planning and internal and statutory reporting. You will bring a wealth of experience in highly effective financial processes, controls and analysis, which you will use to create and deliver a modern and effective Finance function.
