Purpose
You will work with people with a physical and/or mental health condition which impacts their ability to gain or sustain work. You will manage a caseload of between 25 to 30 individuals to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach (for which training will be given); providing person centred advice and guidance to individuals, whilst building positive relationships with local employers and stakeholders to enable individuals to move into suitable employment. Embedded within Primary Care, GP practices, Community Health Teams, Job Centres and the wider community, you will support participants on their recovery journey towards better health and wellbeing.

Essential:
You will have:
1. IPS delivery experience (preferably in a Primary care setting)
2. Proven experience of supporting people to obtain or keep work
3. Proven experience of meeting and exceeding outcomes and targets

Location:
You will be covering Dover, Kent. Please note this is not a home working position. IPS Employment Specialists are required to spend 65% of their time working in person in the community and embed in their clinical team site this role is minimal home working.
