Total Care Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced and compassionate Band 3 Adult Support Worker to support individuals in Adult Day Care services across the Belfast Trust Area. The role involves working directly with vulnerable adults to enhance their quality of life, maximize their potential, and provide personal care as required. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on providing high-quality care and support. Main Duties: Actively support service users to experience life opportunities that promote maximizing their potential and fulfilling their dreams. Enable community participation and presence, as desired by the individuals supported. Ensure access to person-led chosen activities, leading to measurable outcomes and achievements for individuals. Assist in designing personalized programmes of leisure, education, and social opportunities. Develop, design, implement, and review individualized support and care plans in compliance with guidelines. Provide personal assistance with primary needs such as toileting, feeding, bathing, and showering. Maintain regular and accurate records and reports, including incident reports. Facilitate service users' participation in activities and support them in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment. Administer medication (after completing relevant training). Participate in team meetings and contribute positively to discussions. Essential Criteria: A good standard of education, with 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C) or equivalent. NISCC Registration or be willing to register. A minimum of 6 months' experience working with vulnerable adults or children. Willingness to complete mandatory face-to-face training. Skills and Abilities: Positive attitude toward supporting vulnerable people and inspiring others. Excellent listening skills and ability to accurately report and record information. Strong team player, with the ability to work independently when needed. Patient, caring, and sensitive approach. Ability to provide personal care when required.
