The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for crafting compelling press releases, news stories, articles, and case studies, and pitching these to national, regional, and trade journalists across print, broadcast, and online platforms. They will develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts, and provide support on the management of client accounts.
Key responsibilities include:
* Writing press releases, news stories, articles, case studies, and product pieces.
* Pitching press releases and feature ideas to national, regional, and trade journalists.
* Maintaining regular client interaction, including developing editorial themes with lawyers.
* Providing support on the management of client accounts.
* Arranging interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists for clients’ spokespeople.
* Monitoring media coverage and reporting results to the wider team and clients.
* Delivering analytics reports on social media, reporting on traffic, engagement, and follower figures.
* Being a reliable point of contact for clients.
* Being social media-savvy and understanding the role of social media in reputation management.
* Contributing to brainstorming sessions for PR campaigns.
* Providing support to the Senior Management Team, as required in terms of research for new business opportunities/pitches and providing support on Byfield marketing initiatives.
