Clinical Trials Assistant Human Challenge Facility (HCF) Clinical Sciences Full-time, Fixed term appointment to 11th May 2026 The Human Challenge Facility (HCF) is looking to recruit a Clinical Trials Assistant to support the Clinical Research Team within the HCF. This role ensures the smooth administration of clinical trials, adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and maintenance of high-quality trial processes. The post holder will be expected to perform various roles, including correspondence with research participants, general administration, ordering supplies, arranging meetings, taking minutes, and coordinating research projects. These aspects of the role must be conducted in accordance with ICH Good Clinical Practice and the UK policy framework for Health and Social Care Research. Key Responsibilities are (but not limited to): Provide administrative support, including managing study documents and participant correspondence. Maintain research databases and financial records, including participant expenses. Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and handle external queries. Process payments, procurement, and budget management. Engage with stakeholders, including study participants and external partners. Support recruitment events and promotional activities. Requirements: Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) (essential). Experience in an administrative role (essential). Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (essential). Budget management and spreadsheet experience (essential). Excellent time management and communication skills (essential).
