We are currently recruiting for a Fire & Security Installation Engineer, servicing planned and reactive maintenance contracts, together with new installation work, involves daily travel nationwide, with rare overnight stays.
Candidate requirements:
- qualified to NVQ Level 3 Fire emergency and security systems or equivalent.
- qualified to 18th Edition and possess NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, C&G 2391 or equivalent.
- 5 years min experience incl. adhering to British, NSI (NACOSS), and BAFE standards.
- valid ECS Card, IPAF and PASMA are preferred but not essential.
- working at heights.
- full UK driving licence.
- clean disclosure – vetting to BS7858 standard.
- able work within Health and Safety regulations.
- be flexible with regarding to working hours, willingness to travel with rare stays away.
Experience required:
- knowledge of, and training in, fire protection systems
- knowledge of, and training in, security systems including Paxton, Honeywell, Texecom, Bosch, Hikvision (desirable).
- track record of installation, commissioning and repair of intruder alarm, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and audio and door entry systems; including service visits.
- proven delivery across the project life cycle to manage scope of works, drawings, installations, test and commissioning, and client handover.
- ability to produce high quality commissioning and handover documentation to meet quality and client satisfaction standards.
