Our successful business based in Shrewsbury are looking for a Finance Manager on a temporary ongoing basis. The Finance Manager will form an integral part of the finance department, working with the Senior Leadership Team on strategic plans and having support from the Accounts Assistant, whose duties are mainly transactional.
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Preparation of VAT returns.
* Production of monthly payroll from start to finish.
* Prepare monthly management pack.
* Liaising with the auditors.
* Production of ad-hoc reports and analysis to support in decision making.
* Cashflow forecasts.
* Preparing balance sheet control accounts.
* Any other activities related to the financial management of the company.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will need to be immediately available. You will need to have experience of the above duties and be confident in hitting the ground running. You will need to be a problem solver who can use your own initiative.
