Electrical Maintenance Technician

The Role:
We are looking to recruit a motivated individual who can work as an individual and as part of a team of flexible electrical and mechanical technicians, reporting to the EC&I Engineer. This role involves Monday - Friday days/afternoon shift work, day project/PPM work, and being part of a call-out rota.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Participate as a member of the multi-skilled Engineering team, working with other departments to improve performance and achieve objectives.
2. Setting priorities from shift production teams' guidance.
3. Breakdown maintenance.
4. Significant involvement in project, development, and installation work.
5. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance.
6. Safe working of all plant and equipment within Health & Safety requirements.
7. Reacting effectively to minimize machine downtime, while executing planned preventative maintenance activities to increase machine availability and performance.
The Person:
Qualifications/Experience:
1. Timed served apprentice.
2. Minimum ONC, or equivalent qualification.
3. Experience with maintaining production equipment.
4. Previous experience in a similar role.
Experience with the following is desirable, but not essential as in-house training will be provided:
1. PLC Systems (preferably Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi)
2. Instrumentation Systems (Thermocouples, level control, Loop Control)
3. Inverter drive control
4. Gas Burner Control Systems
5. 3-phase Overhead Crane Systems
6. General fault finding & diagnostics skills

Shifts:
Days & Nights - mix of a 12-day and night shifts for 3 weeks, then days 07:00~ 15:00 for 1 week, repeated for 16 weeks, followed by 4 weeks on 07:00~ 15:00 projects. #J-18808-Ljbffr
