Quality Inspector duties include -
Use handheld measurement tools and CMM to inspect precision components.
Liaise with the Quality and Design teams when rejected parts are found.
Document and report non-conforming materials as required.
Ensure that discrepancies are isolated, and the necessary actions are implemented.
Assist with other Goods in the Inwards area as and when required.
Ensure that all measuring equipment is correctly calibrated.Quality Inspector desirable skills and experience -
Experience in a similar position (CMM Programmer, Metrology Engineer etc).
Computer literate/able to read technical drawings.
Relevant mechanical engineering education (HND/HNC), or training.Quality Inspector benefits include -
