Job Summary: Full-time (40 hours), Monday to Friday
Salary Range: £35,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: Based in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, UK
HarvestEye is a data insights business, focused on optimizing crop growth during the harvest cycle. We do this by fitting an innovative system to existing harvesting or grading equipment that uses machine learning to size and count the crop. This is a patented technology giving valuable information on the performance of the whole field instead of conventional sampling and also provides in depth information on variety and grower relative yield.

Our multidisciplinary team of software developers, hardware engineers, scientists, and project management professionals all work to bring new, innovative solutions to issues seen within the fresh produce industry.

Job Purpose:
We are looking to introduce a new role to our business as Customer Success Manager. This high-profile role holds responsibility for customer fulfilment, onboarding, uptime, retention, and developing positive experiences to maximize the value gained from data insights. The candidate will work with customers and distributors globally in order to generate business growth. The role will be located at our offices in Lincoln, UK.
Key Responsibilities:
This will be a varied B2B role with numerous elements to it including:
* Track adoption of the technology, guiding customers on the path to value.
* Onboard new clients and conduct product demonstrations.
* Upsell services and products within the brand.
* Review customer feedback and collaborate with the team for product development.
* Manage and develop relationships with product distributors and provide proactive customer support, liaising directly with end clients to grow business and ensure optimal product use.
* Provide basic product support and information alongside the engineering team.
* Maintain the customer database and update customer information.
* Oversee HarvestEye fulfilment and uptime processes to ensure seamless operations.
Skills & Knowledge:
* Background in B2B Account Management, Sales, or Business Development, ideally in the agriculture sector. (Desirable)
* Comfortable operating in both corporate boardrooms and field environments. (Essential)
* Experience selling tech-related products or services into the agri sector, preferably with software, data, or AI components. (Desirable)
* Proficiency in using data insights and presenting them as valuable information to customers. (Essential)
* Experience acting as a liaison between commercial customers and internal product development teams. (Desirable)
* Understanding of how proactive customer service drives additional sales within the industry. (Desirable)
* Willingness to travel, including potential international travel as the customer base grows. (Essential)
* High levels of commercial acumen. (Desirable)
* Strong interpersonal skills: written, verbal, and listening. (Essential)
Working Relationships:
The job holder will report to the General Manager and is expected to develop productive and professional working relationships with both internal and external collaborators and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
· An agricultural qualification is advantageous.
· Alternatively, the ability to demonstrate an equivalent level of experience.
