Brook Street are currently recruiting for a temporary Inbound Customer Support Officers to work for The Driving Standards Agency (DVSA) based at Quorum Business Park.
Working Monday to Friday, you will be required to work 37 hours per week between 8am - 6pm. With a competitive hourly rate of £12.36 per hour, office hours, and on-site car parking- where possible, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work within a government department.
Assignment: Starting in January 2025 - Temporary ongoing.
Rate of Pay: £12.36 per hour - Weekly pay
Hours: 37 per week, Monday - Friday

Working arrangements: Fully Office Based from Quorum Business Park
The purpose of this role is to provide a quality support, advice and guidance service to both internal and external customers contributing to the improvement of road safety, environmental standards, and the reduction of vehicle crime.
Duties include, but are not restricted to:
1. Handle internal telephone calls from other departments and email correspondence.
2. Deliver a consistent and productive service to both internal and external customers.
3. Ensure all administrative work is completed and recorded accurately.
4. Use information resources to support customer service.
5. Keep up to date with current procedures and practices.
6. Work effectively as part of a team, participate in team meetings, and contribute towards the staff engagement plan.
7. Promote and respect team working ethics by building good working relationships using co-operation and discussion.
8. Execute own responsibilities effectively and in line with DVSA policies and processes, ensuring that daily tasks and activities are delivered against agreed objectives.

1. Good written and communication skills.
2. Ability to handle challenging enquiries.
3. Basic computer literacy skills e.g. keyboard, word processing skills and Microsoft applications.
