Volunteer Retail Assistant
Volunteer in a KEMP Hospice Shop - Build Confidence, Gain Experience, and Make a Difference
KEMP Hospice is looking for Volunteer Retail Assistants to support their charity shops in Bewdley, Stourport and Kidderminster. They're seeking friendly and reliable volunteers to join their welcoming shop teams and help raise vital funds for hospice care in the local community. No retail experience is needed - just a positive attitude and willingness to help.
Whether you're retired, working part-time, a student, or currently not in work or education, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience, meet new people, and give something back.
About the Volunteer Retail Assistant Role:
Volunteers play a key part in the day-to-day running of KEMP's shops, helping to create a warm and positive experience for customers. Tasks can be tailored to suit your interests and might include:
1. Serving customers on the till and delivering great service
2. Sorting and displaying donated stock
3. Helping with merchandising and shop displays
4. Keeping the shop clean, tidy and welcoming
5. Supporting with backroom organisation and donation processing
What KEMP looks for:
1. Friendly, approachable and respectful individuals
2. Physically able to be on your feet for a few hours
3. Reliable and happy to commit to a regular shift (usually 2-3 hours)
4. Willing to learn and keen to make a positive contribution
