Tozers’ growing Wealth Management Team is looking for a Team Assistant to support their processes for dealing with client enquiries, onboarding new clients, and providing general administrative support to help the team manage their busy and varied workloads in Exeter.
What you’ll be doing
We work hard to deliver excellent service to our clients. You will be a crucial part of this by being one of the first points of contact for our existing and potential clients, taking initial enquiries, opening files for our fee earners, processing identification checks, and assisting with routine dictations.
You will have principal responsibility within the team for managing the diaries of fee earners, calling potential and existing clients to book in appointments, and ensuring that all onboarding processes have been completed in advance of those meetings so that our fee-earners can hit the ground running and concentrate on delivering high-quality legal advice.
Alongside this, you will be assisting the other assistants within the team with tasks such as scanning, printing, and audio-typing.
What we’re looking for
Anyone joining the Wealth Management Team will have our clients’ needs at the heart of everything they do. You will be organised, proactive, and willing to take charge of your workload, confident and friendly in communicating with our clients by phone, email, via Teams, and face to face.
You will recognise, or at least be willing to learn, the importance of the processes which underline our practice and be willing to take responsibility for ensuring these are followed correctly and efficiently in all cases.
What you’ll have
We are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds but previous administrative experience in an office setting or client-facing role would be an advantage. Whatever your background, you will be able to demonstrate to us that you are a team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude who will be happy to adapt to the requirements of the tasks facing you and proactively support the team. You will also have strong interpersonal skills and be able to take a calm and sympathetic approach to direct contact with clients and their families.
We are looking for a team member who can demonstrate their initiative and problem-solving skills, who has self-discipline, attention to detail, and a willingness to work with the aim of achieving a common goal.
You will also be able to balance a variety of responsibilities and manage your time and workload efficiently. An aptitude for maintaining a calm approach to work within a busy working environment will be very helpful, as will the ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and clients.
What we have
We believe that our people are our most important asset and are committed to supporting our teams, cultivating a healthy culture of challenge and expectation with support and care. We invest in our teams and our infrastructure to ensure that we attract and retain talented staff, and are committed to giving all colleagues the opportunity to reach their full potential, with a real focus on training and development.
Our values; high-quality work, healthy growth, and happy teams are at the heart of everything we do. Find out more about our vision and values, commitment to colleague wellbeing, and colleague benefits below.
