Job Advert Role Description
The Priory Hospital Preston has established an excellent reputation for offering calming and recovery focused residential treatment for up to 38 service users.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and committed professional to take responsibility for the Hospital at night as Night Co-Ordinator. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience of crisis management and responding to emergencies as well as experience of managing teams and complex problems
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the hospital operations
- Provide effective clinical leadership and support to the nursing and healthcare team across the hospital.
- Oversee patients care, ensuring safe staffing levels across the hospital and effective incident management where required
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Mentor and support staff by facilitating supervisions and post incident debriefs
- Review and respond to incoming referrals and support wards with admissions
What We Look For:
- Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid license.
- Experience in a managerial or leadership role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to patient-centred care, quality, and safety.
- Ability to balance conflicting demands using adaptive thinking and positive problem solving
