A new and challenging opportunity for an Account Manager has become available in our Heavy Construction Equipment Division.
We are looking for an individual who is a committed self starter with a drive to succeed and the ability to follow company principles and policy that will lead to that success. Experience in the capital equipment industry is preferred but not essential.
Based in Melbourne, the primary objective in this role will be to service our customer base and seek new business opportunities for our products, with specific emphasis on targeted accounts and fleet customers.
Major responsibilities will include:
- Build, promote and develop business with existing customers.
- Identify and develop new key customers, fleet business and civil construction contractors.
- Provide objective and structured feedback.
- Prepare sales reports and maintain effective customer records.
- Conduct professional presentations to prospective customers.
- Develop long term plans that detail Objectives, Strategies and Tactics for securing new account business.
To be considered for the position you will have the following:
- A minimum 3 years selling experience
- Able to work by priority and targets
- Attention to detail
- Ability work to deadlines
- Ability to manage a designated territory
- Ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues
