Main duties of the job
The postholder will understand and be able to articulate the benefits of integrated engagement and communications functions and deliver activity and products across the broad engagement and communications mix.
The post holder will support with the creation of dynamic content - working in communities meeting with local people and partners - to demonstrate how the Integrated Care Board and ICP are improving the health outcomes, health wellbeing and reducing health inequalities for South West London residents.

Job responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include:
1. Ensure that the local health and care systems activities are promoted through the website, local events, and social networks.
2. The post holder is expected to bring a broad range of communications and engagement skills to support the ICB to achieve our four core aims.
3. Support with the delivery of a range of involvement and communication channels to support your Place(s) diverse communities.
4. Work effectively with colleagues across South West London ICB, including primary care networks, local voluntary, community and social enterprises, Healthwatch as well as NHS England and other relevant organisations.
5. Update the ICB and ICP public websites and submit content for reports and presentations to relevant Boards and Committees.
6. Support with the delivery of robust resident engagement to enable service planning and transformation to put resident voice at the heart of decision making and support the team to ensure there is compliance with the Health and Care Act 2022.
7. Support ICB staff with community engagement activities and support prioritised projects including giving project leads advice to develop and implement appropriate plans.
8. Support the ongoing development of a wide range of internal communications channels, currently including Team Talk, Daily Update, All staff briefs and events and the intranet.
9. Design, implement, edit the intranet ensuring content is engaging, up to date and follows editorial guidelines.
10. Support corporate communications activities functions, supporting delivery of corporate communications activities, functions and publications including the annual reports and Annual General Meeting.
11. Support the development of organisational identity by promoting consistent use of NHS ICB and ICP brands through across all our communications channels.
12. Working with the Chair and Chief Executives office to ensure public communications are consistent and they are supported to present our ICS in the best light.
13. Manage stakeholder contact maps and lists. Ensuring that relevant databases are kept up to date and compliant with current data protection legislation.
14. Contribute to the design, development and delivery of communications strategies, campaigns, and materials, including: producing a varied range of high-quality communications materials, including annual reports, brochures and websites, from copywriting through to design.
15. Draft content, newsletters and written materials to promote, engage, and inform local stakeholders about health and care activities.
16. Writing, editing and uploading content to websites.
17. Commissioning and managing suppliers, particularly graphic design and digital services implementing robust planning and governance processes to ensure campaigns and activities are delivered on time, to budget and are of a high quality.
18. Carrying out evaluations.
Person Specification
Education / Qualifications
* Thorough knowledge of administrative procedures, including specialist software packages acquired through experience or formal training to diploma level, in communications and engagement teams.
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience of working in a complex, multidisciplinary environment, in communications and engagement teams.
* Experience of working to tight deadlines and managing own time.
Skill and Abilities
* Ability to draft correspondence.
* Ability to prioritise tasks, seeking guidance as required.
* Intermediate (or advanced) Keyboard skill - ability to use Microsoft Office package.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Confident - able to deal with individuals at all levels and in challenging situations.

£34,521 to £41,956 a year per annum inclusive of Outer HCAS.
