Essential criteria
* Level 5 CIPD
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
Experience/Knowledge
Essential criteria
* Proven experience in a HR advisory role with minimal supervision
* Experience providing advice and recommendations to managers on complex employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance and capability matters
* Experience of supporting management with timely and robust completion of investigations
* Able to review and update HR policies and procedures
* Up to date knowledge of employment law and good employment practice
Desirable criteria
* NHS experience
* Trained AFC Job matcher
SKILLS/ABILITIES
Essential criteria
* Able to convey ideas and advise clearly, concisely with conviction and in a persuasive manner
* Ability to analyse and problem solve from complex information and communicate with managers and staff to assist in determining informed decisions
* High standard of verbal and written communication skills/able to generate own correspondence and reports, and draft policy revisions, all with a high level of attention to detail.
* Ability to coach managers on how to apply HRM practices appropriately.
* Familiar with electronic HR reporting and recording systems and producing reports as required
