Role: Customer Service Advisor
Duration: 12 months
Location: Tongwell, Milton Keynes - 4 days in the office, 1 day from home (this day is flexible)
Start: ASAP.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver excellent service to customers as an 'information and administration provider', ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
2. Respond efficiently and professionally to incoming emails and calls, providing a single point of resolution for customers and internal colleagues.
3. Manage customer queries regarding products and services within agreed time scales, investigating queries using various IT systems.
4. Record all queries and action points on the relevant department customer contact system.
5. Carry out necessary contract administration within service level agreements, ensuring adherence to task-specific procedures and processes.
6. Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the direct manager or other stakeholders as reasonable to the job holder's role.
7. Prioritize and organize workload to ensure completion within service level agreements.
8. Take ownership and work within guidelines to resolve customer and departmental queries on contractual matters.
9. Maintain relevant accreditation/compliance/knowledge to desired standards (e.g., FCA, DPA, Money Laundering, etc.).
10. Ensure company standards of communication with customers (internal and external) are met on all calls, emails, live chats, and correspondence.
11. Support the team in identifying new processes and department improvements.
12. Contribute to creating a customer-centric culture and assist in enhancing the customer experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. GCSE or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics is preferable.
2. Previous customer service experience, preferably within the finance industry.
3. Effective telephone and negotiation skills (both written and verbal).
4. Excellent administrative skills with a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
5. Ability to take ownership of problems and resolve them satisfactorily within predetermined time frames.
6. Demonstrate ability to learn and employ finance and credit-control knowledge.
7. Self-motivated with the ability to work in a pressurized environment while maintaining focus on objectives.
