The Head of International Partnerships will play a key role in driving significant growth in Transnational Education (TNE) campus network, aligned with robust risk-management strategies and attainment of all quality-assurance standards.
The postholder will lead on the management of the TNE network which currently comprises of 2 operational global sites and further 4 more sites opening soon.
The postholder will lead an innovative and agile international partnerships operation, providing a high level of service and work closely with senior colleagues in UK.
Duties
1. To manage a wide range of international partnerships successfully, including TNE, articulations, research, CPD, training, online and blended provision.
2. To lead on the management and oversee the TNE partnership network.
3. To implement robust TNE risk-management strategies in line with Sector best practice to ensure that the TNE provision remains resilient and viable.
4. Play a lead role in proactively identifying and evaluating new TNE opportunities, developing credible, scalable, and sustainable opportunities into clear and detailed business proposals.
5. Recruit, develop and performance manage staff ensuring an inclusive culture of innovation, continuous improvement, mutual understanding, and accountability.
6. To actively build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders: British Council, Local Councils, Local Chambers of Commerce, Local Visa office.
7. Provide key data and management information pertaining to TNE operations and produce reports, as required.
8. Ensure all International Partnership policies and procedures comply with relevant legislation including GDPR, Freedom of Information, Local Ministries, etc.
9. Maintain an awareness and understanding of TNE and the wider Sector policy, regulatory and compliance environment and continually re-evaluate practice.
10. Ensure currency of knowledge of TNE developments, opportunities and best practice and provide expert advice to colleagues and senior management.
11. To play an active role as a senior member of the wider External Relations team, contributing to the development and delivery of the wider Service’s strategic plans.
Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours (Essential)
• An understanding of the current Transnational Education (TNE) context with a proven track record of success in establishing and managing Transnational Education (TNE) partnerships
• Experience of line / project management.
• Experience of leading, managing and implements projects with significant planning and financial budgeting experience, including the production of business cases.
• Experience of collating and monitoring data for reports and maintaining databases
• Undergraduate Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proven excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with evidence of building effective working relationships at all levels and communicating across a wide range of internal and external audiences and across cultural boundaries.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical skills and works strategically.
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and committed, with the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and to find creative solutions to complex issues as they arise and the ability to cope with demanding and shifting priorities.
• Willingness to undertake regular overseas travel.

* Must have knowledge and experience of working with regulators
Salary and Benefits
* £45,000 - £55,000 per year + 5K Annual Bonus
* Holiday entitlement is 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
* 3% annual increase per year on completion from your start date of service and on meeting KPIs
