Senior Social Worker
About Our Client
Our client believes in providing tailored assessments in a holistic way to deliver the best outcomes for children and families. Their residential family centre accommodates a maximum of nine families and is situated in Croydon, London. Their fundamental principles revolve around keeping families together, creating a nurturing and supportive environment where parents can safely exhibit their parenting capabilities as mandated by the court or local authorities.
They facilitate comprehensive and detailed parenting assessments to provide parents with opportunities to learn and engage in change to build upon their parenting capacity. Their assessments are conducted over 12 to 16 weeks and include specialist parenting assessments such as PAMS and Parent Assess. They provide training to their team to facilitate these assessments, which are grounded in evidence and result in recommendations that prioritize child safety. They create a secure space where children can engage with their parents while addressing safety concerns related to their unique situations. They actively support parents in building confidence, refining parenting skills, and demonstrating their capacity to meet their children's needs while addressing individual challenges.
