Become a Senior Acquisitions Manager In this brand new position as our Senior Acquisitions Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our ambitious plans to grow and thrive. Over the next five years, you’ll spearhead our expansion into 60 vibrant new locations—from bustling high streets to lively shopping centres and thriving retail parks across the UK and Ireland. Your knack for spotting winning opportunities will drive our success. With a keen eye for promising locations, you’ll build and manage a pipeline that delivers on our vision. From negotiating standout deals to keeping stakeholders in sync, you’ll own the entire acquisition process and ensure every new opening is a cause for celebration. This is your chance to shape the future of our retail presence and make your mark on something truly exciting Your Mission Identify priority locations for new store openings across the UK and Ireland, ensuring they meet the required return on investment criteria. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new store opportunities, collaborating with agents to achieve our strategic goal of a net 60 new stores over the next five years. Negotiate lease terms and agreements with property owners, landlords, and solicitors with precision and expertise. Conduct market research and site visits to provide valuable insights and assessments for property acquisition decisions. Develop strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal teams, including Retail Operations and Estates Management, to align on objectives. Oversee the entire acquisition process, ensuring smooth execution from initial contact to final lease signing. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to property acquisitions. Prepare and present acquisition proposals to the Board for approval. Monitor and report on progress, providing updates on the acquisition pipeline to stakeholders. Evaluate the performance of stores to guide future strategies for new store openings. Skills That Will Set You Apart Proven experience in property acquisitions, ideally within a retail background or similar industry (e.g., hospitality). Strong understanding of the property market and commerciality, with reference to key performance drivers and new store acquisitions. Excellent analytical skills to inform and support decision-making. Ability to develop and manage strong relationships and build a solid network while influencing stakeholders to achieve results. S trong communication skills, including presenting to and influencing senior leadership by discussing opportunities, presenting acquisition proposals, and providing progress updates through to completion. Proactive and impact-driven, with the confidence to lead our ambitious growth plans. A full driving licence to facilitate property acquisition-related travel.
