We are currently recruiting a Strategic Sales Manager to join a progressive and ambitious freight forwarding team. FAR Logistics is recognized as being one of the largest and fastest growing businesses in our space and is part of a multi award-winning organization.
The Strategic Sales Manager will be responsible for creating new business opportunities and for managing the developmental growth of those clients through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

The right candidate should have a real passion for sales and customer service and will go the extra mile to understand the needs of their customers with an ethos of offering bespoke services and solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Seek, develop, and secure new business opportunities.
2. Measure, monitor and review performance of their accounts, ensuring budgets and forecasts are met. Optimize opportunities and manage their client database.
3. Support the business by delivering high levels of customer service and building strong relationships.
4. Provide customers with accurate and cost-effective quotations. Select appropriate carriers/hauliers in order to maximize profits.
5. Integrate new business into our service network.
6. Work closely with internal teams (notably Operations, customs, Account Managers, and transport) to ensure the seamless movement of cargo from origin to destination.
7. Monitor market trends in order to keep abreast of the competition.
8. Arrange regular client check-ups, via Zoom or face-to-face.
9. Meet individually set quarterly targets.
10. Sell comprehensive suite of services – Road, Air, Ocean, and Customs, etc.
