Technical Sales Engineer (Industrial Welding Sector)
North Birmingham/Stafford/Manchester/Sheffield - Field Based
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum - basic/OTE £55,000 per annum

Responsibilities:
1. Business Development for Welding equipment in a defined territory
2. Promote welding propositions to UK Welding Distributors
3. Promote welding to the UK's end users
4. Direct contact with Distributors and end-user customers
5. Liaising with all members of the team, including International colleagues
6. Working closely with the UK Field based Sales Team to enhance business opportunities
7. Working closely with the Divisional Manager to implement agreed strategy
8. Visiting and enhancing relationships with defined customers
9. Perform demonstrations of Industrial Machines to achieve sales
10. Promote and present the products to Distributors and End User customers and prospects
11. Presentation/Business relationship building/sales of machinery, accessories and consumables
12. Acquire and maintain expert knowledge of Industrial welding equipment
13. Providing technical advice to new and existing customers
14. Troubleshooting to support customers - nationally via telephone/email or onsite visits
15. Providing training for customers at client sites
16. Business development and customer retention
17. Providing technical training to Internal sales staff/after sales and customer services Internally
18. Attending Customer Trade Shows and Open Days
19. Providing close feedback to Research & Development teams on site
20. Factfind and feedback on competitor information
21. Report writing
Skills Required:
1. Background in Industrial Technical Field Sales
2. Preference given to those with previous Sales experience within the Tooling Industry
3. Preference given to those with a background within Welding/Automotive
4. Excellent presentation and communication skills
5. Confident/Professional/Assertive
