We're looking for an experienced Handover Manager to join our Transportation team working on the A417 Missing Link Road project in Gloucester. In this role you'll oversee and facilitate the smooth and successful handover of the A417 – ‘Missing Link' major project into maintenance following completion of the scheme's construction. Location: A417 Gloucester - occasional remote working available, with travel to the site required
Hours: Permanent Fulltime
Salary: £65,000 to £75,000 per annum + private healthcare + annual car allowance + benefits
Responsibilities
As a Handover Manager, you'll oversee the seamless and successful transition into maintenance to National Highways Operations Directorate (NHOD) on programme.
Your day to day will include:
* Early engagement with NHOD and the incumbent DBFO
* Defining operational and maintenance boundaries between relevant parties
* Closing legal agreements – Identifying key decision makers, engagement and detailed technical information ensure timely legal agreement signings
* Prioritising Health and Safety documentation meets the end users expectations – working collaboratively with the Kier/NH safety teams
What are we looking for?
This role of Handover Manager is great for you if:
* Previous handover manager experience on National Highways major projects
* Degree or equivalent in Engineering/construction management and Chartered Engineer or equivalent
* Hold an appropriate CSCS card
