I am currently looking for an IT Support Manager for an Ipswich based client. It's a combination of Service desk management infrastructure management and team management. Although it is a small number of direct reports you will be tasked with increasing the team size over the coming 12 months. The role is very much a hands on role with 3rd line responsibilities. However, apart from BAU work there are a number of exciting projects to manage, including a complete IT estate build for a new location, implementation of a new recruitment system and many more. Here you will be given the responsilibity of sourcing and researching technologies and suitable systems.
Awareness of IT operating standards and frameworks focused on cyber security standards and practises (for example Cyber Essentials/plus, ISO27001)
Extensive technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, ideally supported with relevant certifications
