We are seeking a Director of Golf to lead and manage the golf operations within our business. The ideal candidate will work at both a strategic and operational level, overseeing and continually improving all areas of the golf department. This role requires setting a clear vision for the business's strategic growth, while personally driving new sales and marketing opportunities. A strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maximising both revenue and profitability is essential. Key skills required include knowledge of golf, the golf industry, and familiarity with England Golf and the World Handicap System (WHS). Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with a pragmatic approach to decision-making are also necessary. Strong capability in managing budgets, preparing accurate financial information, and understanding management accounts and P&L reports is required. A high level of commercial acumen is essential, ideally demonstrated by a proven track record of contributing significantly to promotional, sales, and marketing campaigns in previous roles. Exceptional customer service skills, strong people management and leadership skills, and proficiency in IT are also required. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively is essential.
