The candidate needs the ability to communicate at all levels, on the telephone, over email and face to face. The candidate is required to have excellent customer service skills and the ability to deal with difficult situations in a calm and caring manner. As an adaptable and confident team member, with experience in a busy administrative environment, you will need to be well organised and able to provide an excellent administrative and secretarial service. Main duties of the job The candidate will be responsible for providing admin support to both the Assessment and Primary Intervention Team (APIT) within CAMHS including our joint front door service Branching Minds and also our Pathways/Core Team (New Street Health Centre). The candidate will be responsible for formatting and typing appointment letters, discharge letters, scanning and processing referrals into the service, taking and making phone calls, booking in initial assessments, taking minutes of meetings, reception cover and other admin duties. The candidate will require excellent organisational skills, will need to be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own, they need to work to a high standard with the ability to do so in a fast paced and busy environment, they will need to be conscientious and able to use initiative and work to the Trust Values.
