Job description:
We looking to recruit experienced Bench Hand Joiners on a Temporary or Permanent basis. This is suitable for candidates looking for a career opportunity within an established, family-owned business.
The roles:
Assemble pre-cut and prefabricated parts to form complete units using hand a power tools.
Work on bespoke builds using a variety of materials including solid surface.
Check all components supplied against cutting lists are available to complete units.
Ensure job cards are complete and accurate informing discrepancies to relevant manager and/or department.
Recording tasks on our SAP system (training provided).
Produce work to the highest standard in a timely manner.
Immediate start.
Maintain all tools used and report faulty machinery.
Comply with Health & Safety regulations as stated in the Health & Safety handbook.
Experience & attributes required:
At least 2 years bench hand joinery experience.
Experience of solid surface work is preferred but not mandatory. .
Ability to work on own initiative with or without supervision and cope under pressure.
Able to progress and develop within the role to meet workload demands.
Experience of using warehouse management systems to record and track work tasks.
The candidate will be employed on a 39-hour week, 8.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am – 3.15pm Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break. Overtime is available to meet production demands, and this is paid at flat rate
