We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Coordinator to join us at our Wigston site in Leicester to assist the Quality Manager with the responsibility of Quality and Food Safety management systems.
Main responsibilities:
* To develop, review and improve current recording systems in place (quality systems, process flow etc.), reporting and tracking tools
* The develop food safety and quality promoting tools- posters- games- briefings
* Food safety culture system management, data gathering, analysis of results, creation of the action plan and follow up of action.
* To raise and investigate non-conformities, liaising with all relevant departments
* To ensure that the non conformities raised in the system have been raised correctly, investigated and all investigation recorded and followed up
* Support the team in coordination of investigation/ resolving of the food safety and quality issues as they arise liaising with senior team when required
* To investigate and respond to customer complaints
* Assist Quality Manager in competition of gap analysis and implementation of all new standards/ requirements
* Ensure that internal standards are in line with group standards/ implementation of the group procedures on site
* IT – Coding (ability to create databases, systems) Office, Windows, Access, Powerpoint
* Knowledge of the quality and food safety management standards (e.g. BRC, ISO, Group, Customers)
* Ability to analyse trends and problems, make recommendations/decisions
* Ability to lead, plan, organise and motivate others
* Ability to develop procedures
* Quality Auditing qualification
* HND/ Degree in food technology desirable or relevant experience
* HACCP level 3 training and auditing
* Food Safety level 3
* Flexibility (role will involve working some weekends and Bank Holidays)
