Business Development Manager
Field-based
£60,000 + bonus + car allowance
Working for this established and growing organisation, the Business Development Manager will work closely with the Commercial Director and Head of Sales to achieve sales and business targets as directed and proactively identify and develop new accounts within a specified sector across the UK.

As the Business Development Manager, your hours of work would be Monday to Friday 8 am to 5:30 pm. The role is remote working; however, you will be required to travel across the UK and also attend meetings at the Wirral head office.
To apply for the Business Development Manager, you should have previous experience of working within a sales and business development role whilst developing and identifying new business within the industry. You should be able to provide a strong track record of sales results and successes.
Responsibilities:
1. Achieve sales and business objectives related to the sector's growth plans.
2. Introduce proven sales methodologies to accurately qualify opportunities and build a pipeline, pursuing sales opportunities to drive revenue growth.
3. Assist in the development and implementation of a successful sales and marketing plan.
4. Build relationships at multiple layers within each prospect - understanding prospect types as well as key organisational roles.
5. Master an intimate knowledge and understanding of the prospect's buying process, their industry, and their business, ensuring this is reflected in deal forecasting.
6. Represent the brand through an ability to communicate in a professional, consultative, and business-like manner.
7. Be an active and positive member of the sales team, contributing to ideas, projects, and areas for improvement e.g. product, system, or process.
8. Produce sales statistics and provide MI to the Commercial Director and Head of Sales.
9. Attend internal and external sales meetings.
10. Attend industry events and trade exhibitions when required.
11. Complete and deliver market and competitor research to identify potential targets.
12. Adhere to the company's selling practices whilst in accordance with the industry regulations.
Essential Skills:
1. Successful track record of achieving business-to-business sales targets, gained within either the estate agency, conveyancing, or mortgage sectors.
2. Excellent customer relationship management skills.
3. Capability of understanding customer pain points and requirements, with the ability to passionately deliver a value-based sales pitch.
4. Ability to run multiple opportunities in different stages of the sales process while maintaining a high level of prospecting to ensure a healthy ongoing pipeline.
5. Resilient and responsive to change, operating within a fast-paced business.
6. Strives for perfection and adopts a 'right first time' approach.
7. Demonstrates a continuous willingness to learn and develop oneself.
8. Able to possess in-depth knowledge within the market, related products, and trends.
9. Self-motivated, have a strong drive, and bring a high level of commitment and confidence.
