THE ROLE
We're looking for a mid-level and a senior level Full Stack Engineer, on a 6-9 month fixed-term contract to join our Engineering Team, the driving force in the expansion of our solutions and innovation in the property development world.
As a seasoned Full Stack Engineer, you will have the ability to adapt and use the most appropriate tech for the given problem. You'll have the opportunity to work across a wide variety of different tech, including:
* Node.js/TypeScript for APIs and web scraping. CI/CD via GitHub Actions.
* SQL, Python, TypeScript, and Selenium.
* Data stores - Postgres/PostGIS (Aurora), S3, Mongo, and ElasticSearch.
As part of the Engineering team at LandTech you will:

* Deliver key customer and business value, repeatedly and sustainably.
* Drive excellence in coding design, quality, understandability, testability, performance, security.
* Develop an effective and fit for scale system design, creating a high-level system (which can range in size and reach).
* Utilise quality and testing controls and debugging at various scopes, including broken code/systems/integrations and resolving complex production outages and incidents promptly.
* Escalate and report to stakeholders companywide at all levels on issues, blocks, performance outcomes, and product solutions.
* Support operations to ensure performance, including observability of systems (logging, metrics, alerting), reducing operational overhead and providing support.
* Make decisions and operate in line with business goals and our Values.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Experience in a DevOps environment.
* Experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and AWS.
* Experience with SQL databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
* Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures.
* Experience with software engineering, customer experience, and geospatial engineering preferred.
