Job Title: Disrepair Surveyor Location: North West London Salary: £300-£400 Job Type: Interim Our client, a well-established housing association based in North West London, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Disrepair Surveyor to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring that the housing stock remains safe, compliant, and well-maintained, while providing high-quality service to tenants. Key Responsibilities: As a Disrepair Surveyor, you will be responsible for identifying and managing disrepair issues across a portfolio of residential properties. Your main duties will include: Carrying out property inspections to assess disrepair issues reported by tenants. Preparing detailed reports, including recommendations for repair works and cost estimates. Working closely with contractors and internal teams to ensure repairs are completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines. Managing and coordinating the resolution of disrepair claims, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Liaising with tenants to provide updates and address concerns throughout the repair process. Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to disrepair inspections and repairs. Key Skills & Experience: To succeed in this role, you should have: Proven experience as a Disrepair Surveyor or in a similar property maintenance role, ideally within the social housing sector. Strong knowledge of housing disrepair legislation, building regulations, and health and safety standards.
