Lead Offshore Consent Manager for Offshore Wind Farm
We are seeking a Lead Offshore Consent Manager to join the Consents Team to lead in the management and delivery of all offshore consents and supporting environmental assessments for the project. This is a full-time role.
Location: Remote with occasional trips to Glasgow (approximately once per month)
Contract: 12-month rolling contract
Salary: £750-850 per day via PAYE Umbrella / Inside IR35
Ideally, the candidate would have the following experience / skills:
* A background and knowledge in offshore wind and/or offshore/marine ecology.
* Direct experience of consenting, preferably with NSIP/DCO and Marine Licensing processes.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and an innovative approach to addressing consenting issues.
* Ability to build productive relationships and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
* A commercial approach to work, managing risk and achieving viable solutions to consenting issues.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to produce high-quality work to deadlines.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Experience in engaging in strategic discussions on complex technical and environmental issues.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
* Management and execution of the consent strategy and project management for all offshore elements required to achieve development consent for the project.
* Reporting to the Consents Team Manager.
* Leading and supporting the development of the Offshore Consent Manager.
* Management of consultants and liaison with the wider consents and project team.
* Providing consenting advice and managing offshore consenting risk for complex workstreams.
* Leading engagement with key external stakeholders.
