The Recruitment Group is working with a leading retail installations company based in Leicester and is looking for a Project Manager to join their business.
The position will be to build & develop our client's brand across the cosmetic, retail, and point of sale network by being the interface with customers to manage projects, coordinate with customers and manufacturers to ensure the process runs smoothly from design through to installation.
Main duties and responsibilities of the Project Manager
1. Assist/contribute to building a wider network of good quality 3rd party installers.
2. Work in tandem with the Resource & Planning Manager to allocate the correct quality and number of installers for the activity being undertaken.
3. Undertake regular store visits post install to audit the quality of install work.
4. Establish delivery dates for stands to ensure project timings are adhered to.
5. Pre-install, provide constructive feedback on product design from a handling perspective.
6. Manage upcoming projects / activity through effective implementation plans. Identify and mitigate any potential risks.
Experience/knowledge requirements for Project Manager
7. Experience of retail environment and commercial services with good commercial awareness.
8. Ability to work with a range of stakeholders (brand, manufacturer, retailer, 3rd party installers).
9. Adaptable / resourceful / resilient in the face of constant change.
10. Excellent organisation / planning / communication skills.
11. Ability to prioritise effectively.
12. Numerate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
13. Experience in shop fitting / POS would be a plus.
