Join our team as a Grounds Team Operative/Grave Digger and be a vital part of our client's organisation in the grounds maintenance industry. This is a temporary full-time role, offering an hourly rate of £17.04. You will be responsible for a range of duties including excavating graves and cremation plots, assisting with burials and exhumations, and maintaining the cemeteries to our high standards.

Excavating graves and carrying out burials.
Assisting with exhumations and the reclamation of graves.
Providing general maintenance of the cemeteries.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and codes of practise.
Developing and improving service delivery to all service users.Key Requirements:
Possession of a full UK driving licence.
Ability to drive larger vehicles with trailers.
Willingness to operate various excavators or be trained to do so.
Flexibility to work in different locations and adapt to changing priorities.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
Basic IT skills and the ability to follow written instructions.Essential Qualifications:
Possession of or willingness to undertake training in the Institute of Cemeteries and Crematorium Management (ICCM); Cemetery Operatives Training Scheme (COTS) or equivalent.Essential Experience:
Experience using hand tools and power tools.
Experience driving larger vehicles such as vans, small lorries, and tractors.
Experience operating excavators.
Experience in manual labour and/or horticultural tasks.
