Job summary Specialist Physiotherapist - Oncology and Haematology (8-Month Rotations)An exciting opportunity has arisen for a physiotherapist with proven clinical skills to join the Cancer Rehabilitation Team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest teaching hospital Foundation Trusts in the country, employing over 300 physiotherapy staff Main duties of the job The post holder will have the opportunity to rotate across a wide range of oncology and haemato-oncology rotations split into the following: Inpatient oncology/haematology, outpatient oncology/haematology and specialist community cancer clinics. Each rotation lasts 8-months and there is scope for the number and areas of rotations to expand in the future. All rotations involve multidisciplinary team working and provide rehabilitative assessment and intervention to patients with cancer throughout their treatment pathway. It is essential that candidates are able to work autonomously and able to complete comprehensive and holistic assessments and treatment plans. Excellent communication skills, organisational skills, information technology skills, and the ability to work under pressure, in a busy inpatient and outpatient department are essential.
