Job summary Supply Chain Assistant Procurement Department Band 3 - £24,071-£25,674 pa Hours: 37.5 hrs per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working The procurement team have an exciting new role of Supply Chain Assistant and are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team. As the Supply Chain Assistant you will be required to support the team in delivering a comprehensive Receipt & Delivery service, Renal and Dietetic Service and support the Materials Management team. This involves ensuring deliveries for goods across the Trust are made in a timely manner to prevent delays or cancellations to clinics/procedures, orders are correctly receipted on the Trust systems to allow for invoices to be paid without delay. You will be involved with ensuring accurate records are kept for goods received / delivered / returned for traceability purposes. You will need to plan the effective delivery of medical and non-medical consumables to wards and departments by planning and co-ordinating the requirements of these activities with these departments to meet the customer expectations.
