The post holder will also be a key stake holder in the identification of Data Quality issues and their rectification. They will be required to engage proactively with senior clinical and operational colleagues across the Trust, ensuring the business needs of the organisation are embedded within the BI work plan and strategic direction. The post holder will contribute towards the successful delivery of the Digital Strategy ensuring best practice solutions are adopted where appropriate. They will be responsible for the Trust's clinical coding function to ensure that records are coded accurately, to time while maintaining data quality and ensuring efficiency within the department. The postholder will have a passion for ensuring data is recorded accurately, leading the Data Quality Team to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across numerous stakeholders to maximise the quality of the data collected, supporting the aim to have data of a high standard, recognising the impact of data on patient care and safety, trust performance metrics, and trust income.
