TES 2000 has a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established rail safety company as Possession Support Staff within the North East Possessions Management Department. The Possession Support Staff will join our Possessions Management Department, on a 0-hour contract, with availability of mainly nights during the weekend. We are ideally looking for new colleagues based in and around Hull, Sheffield, Doncaster and South Yorkshire. Already hold and ideally be a white hat with Personal Track Safety (PTS) Be willing to undertake training for Individual Working Alone (IWA - 4 days) Next date for training Monday20th January 2025 Possession Support (PS - 1 day) Next date for training Friday24th January 2025 Have availability for day, night, weekend and bank holiday shifts. Hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle. The Possession Support Staff typical shift: Assisting as a team member in managing the rail line possession. Attending (S)PICOP and COSS briefings; raising any concerns if the messages are not clear. Supporting pre-possession checks, briefings etc and be in place at blocking points at least one hour in advance Monitoring of blocking points and place boards and detonators according to the Network Rail guidelines Attending worksites to carry out safety audits on behalf of Network Rail Attending and supporting on site walkouts (pre work), to understand the environment and investigate all safety concerns. Complying with all relevant legislation and railway rules Communicating with (S)PICOP before placing or lifting any protection A good understanding of regulations regarding safety and ready to report any incidents, accidents, near misses or concerns immediately.
