Bristol Cathedral Choir School exists to provide a world-class education for the children of Bristol so that they leave with a deep understanding of the world around them. The school is a highly oversubscribed state cathedral choir school with a rich history and a Christian ethos. It is a music school, educating choristers for Bristol Cathedral for the past 880 years and offers an enhanced and rich musical experience for all. The school provides a traditional academic curriculum to its students, regardless of their background or ability, and emphasises the teaching of Powerful Knowledge.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a talented and highly committed leadership team at the beginning of a period of significant change at the school moving the school from delivering good educational provision to something that is genuinely world class. The specific remit for the role will be determined after appointment as, fundamentally, we are looking for the right person for the team.
