Description
Do you love Boxing? Excited about the idea of working with the best of the World’s elite fighters? Join the DAZN boxing team as Boxing Assistant Producer to mix your passion for sport and a love of boxing, with your experience of capturing content.
As the new Assistant Producer, this is where your in-depth boxing knowledge will shine! You will assist in coordinating, producing, and editing DAZN’s live boxing output. You'll be a key part of pre and post-production on both non-live and live editorial content.
You will have the opportunity to script, create run of shows, and work with some of the biggest names in boxing, Ade Oladipo and Tony Bellew to name a few. You’ll be involved with the editorial of the week's boxing news, gathering footage and social content for our editors and QC’ing our weekly output. Finally, you will coordinate and upload the edits to DAZN’s platform and social team.
This role will be based out of our London office but will also include filming on-site at our various boxing events.
As our new Assistant Producer, you’ll have the opportunity to:
* Produce and edit highlights and other Boxing content.
* Support producers and a team of editors to deliver the required VOD content to a high standard in a timely, efficient manner, liaising with relevant teams to ensure delivery.
* Support the production team with administrative elements of the delivery of content – including adding to a live working distribution document for Highlights and VOD.
* Assist with archiving of valuable content for both Promos and Programming.
* Work on live programming and present ideas for original and regular non-live content, editing and scripting approved concepts.
You'll have:
* Experience of Sport Production and Broadcasting, and producing VOD Content.
* A passion for Boxing with strong editorial skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* A willingness to quickly understand and work across a large variety of sports and be prepared to work to a flexible schedule driven by the demands of the sporting calendar.
* Good organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and comfort in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous, environment.
* The ability to self-cut on non-linear editing tools.
