An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a family-run, independent practice in Lincolnshire, dedicated to providing exceptional first-opinion care for both small animals and exotic pets!
This is the perfect role for a vet who enjoys a varied caseload, values clinical freedom, and thrives in a relaxed yet professional atmosphere. You'll be supported by a fun, friendly, and knowledgeable team that genuinely loves what they do.
At this practice, no two days are the same-you'll work with a diverse range of cases, from routine consultations and surgeries to more complex procedures and exotic pet care. The modern, well-equipped clinic ensures you have everything needed to provide the highest level of care, including ultrasound, x-ray, a dental machine, an infusion pump, and multi-parameter monitoring. With no out-of-hours requirements, you can enjoy a fantastic work-life balance, while benefiting from independence and full clinical freedom, free from corporate constraints.
This role offers outstanding career development opportunities, as it will eventually transition to full sole charge, giving you the chance to establish yourself as Head Vet. The practice is open to taking on someone who is almost sole-charge capable and supporting them with training and mentorship in the initial weeks or months. For the right candidate, there is even potential to progress to Clinical Director level, and for those with long-term ambitions, future ownership opportunities are also on the table.
The ideal candidate is a compassionate and enthusiastic vet who enjoys working in a supportive team environment and is committed to delivering high-quality veterinary care. Strong communication skills and a caring approach to both clients and their pets are essential. You'll have the opportunity to perform a range of surgical procedures, diagnose and treat a variety of conditions, educate pet owners, and stay up to date with advancements in veterinary medicine.
In return, the practice offers a competitive salary and benefits package, tailored to experience, as well as ongoing career development opportunities.
