Your responsibilities as Senior NPD Technologist Lead market research efforts to analyse trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform and shape product innovation strategies. Manage cross-functional collaborations with marketing, procurement, production, and regulatory teams to ensure smooth product development and timely launches. Oversee the development of new product recipes, balancing ingredient functionality, cost-efficiency, and nutritional standards. Design and manage comprehensive product testing programs, including sensory analysis, shelf-life testing, and compliance checks. Maintain and approve accurate product specifications, ensuring adherence to regulatory and quality standards. Coordinate and lead product trials, working closely with in-house teams and external partners. Stay ahead of industry trends, exploring new ingredients and technologies to foster continuous innovation. Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during the development process, ensuring smooth progress at every stage. What we're looking for: Passion for innovation in food and nutrition, with a keen interest in products for pets. Proven experience in food manufacturing or product development, ideally 4 years in NPD development capacity. In-depth knowledge of food science, nutrition, and regulatory requirements for food products. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools, particularly Excel and Sheets. A hands-on, proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills. Ideal candidate profile: Bachelor's or master's degree in food science, manufacturing, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience leading NPD projects from ideation to market launch. Strong leadership and team collaboration skills. Why join us?
