The Macroeconomic Assessment (MA) Team is at the core of the Treasury's function as an economics Ministry, delivering expert macroeconomic analysis to support policy development.
As a team, we play a central role in analysing developments in the UK economy and risks to the outlook, producing high quality and influential macroeconomic analysis.
We are recruiting for two exciting and influential roles in Macroeconomic Assessment: a Head of Indirect Effects and a Head of Investment and Trade Analysis.
Key responsibilities include leading analysis, monitoring macroeconomic data and advising on policy measures affecting business investment or trade.

As a minimum, an undergraduate degree in economics or related subject area is required, with a postgraduate degree and professional experience being advantageous.
You will be able to deliver high quality economic analysis, communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others.
